greeting
For those who wish to conduct research in Educational Technology
I hope that students in my laboratory, regardless of their future career path, will grow to be active and proactive, and capable of demonstrating their full potential as future professionals.
To that end, I want them to seek out various domestic and international resources on their own, actively find learning opportunities, and continue to grow.
Whether you are a master's student, entering a company, government agency, or municipality, or proceeding to a doctoral program, you will rarely be taught everything from scratch
(I believe working students understand this from personal experience).
Knowing what you understand and what you do not, knowing how to figure out what you do not know,
and knowing what methods of learning (or working) suit you best—
technically speaking, this requires exercising metacognition and translating it into action.
This is my policy for my undergraduate classes, and I am even more conscious of this for master's students.
I hope to make this a laboratory where we can all learn these things, help each other, and grow together.
Yamada Laboratory is currently accepting applications for master's and doctoral programs.
If you wish to contribute to the development of education in Japan and around the world, join us!
