We will be holding a seminar on report writing this week on the 27th at the Open Studio on the 3rd floor of the Central Library.

Rather than focusing on formatting, I would like students to learn the fundamental concepts of logical writing. Specifically, we will have you understand the triangle logic (a simplified version of the Toulmin model) and think about the core structure of a report.

This way of thinking is also useful for presentations, job hunting, and performing tasks after joining a company. I hope this seminar will serve as a starting point for your learning (a single 90-minute seminar is not enough to reach a level where you can write excellent reports).

If you have free time and are a student at this university who finds it difficult to know what to write in a report, please join us.

Also, in the second semester, we will study this triangle logic thoroughly in the “Introduction to Practical Skills” course. If you are interested in learning more, please consider taking the course.
