The first symposium of the Learning Analytics Center will be held

It will be two years in a few months since the establishment of the university-wide Learning Analytics Center, and we will hold the first symposium since its establishment, “Toward Ideal Learning Analytics: Research and Practice Back and Forth,” on January 5, 2023. As keynote speakers, we will invite Dr. Ogata from Kyoto University, who established the first Learning Analytics Center at Kyushu University under the Faculty of Arts and Science, and Dr. Hironaka from Hiroshima City University, which is currently collaborating with Kyushu University in the development of learning analytics research findings, to discuss their research and the development of their findings. Dr. Hironaka will talk about his research and the development of his findings. In addition to the Kyushu University members, Mr. Ishii from NTT West Japan, who has been supporting us in deploying the findings at Hiroshima City University from the viewpoint of social implementation, which is one of the objectives of this seminar, will give a presentation on his research and the deployment of the findings. In the panel discussion, we have also invited speakers who are active in the field of this theme. If you are interested, please join us. Please note that the format of the event will be a hybrid.
