The corona disaster is still going on, but various regulations are being loosened both domestically and internationally. In our world, we are now able to attend international conferences in person. I used to participate in face-to-face meetings when I was in the U.S., and I still like it. It’s a great way to get a discussion going.
The International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE) 2023 will be held in Shimane, Japan, from December 4 to 8. Since it is an international conference held in Japan, it is easy to participate and there will be workshops as well as research presentations. I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to present your research and network. I am also involved as a member of the organizing committee. Please see below for the themes and deadlines for submissions. There is still time to participate. Please submit your research and participate in the workshop.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Call for papers for ICCE2023:
The 31st International Conference on Computers in Education
December 4-8, 2023
Matsue, Shimane, JAPAN
The 31st International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2023) is organized by the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE). ICCE 2023 will be held on December 4-8, 2023, from Monday to Friday at Matsue, Shimane prefecture, Japan. Pre-conference events (e.g., Doctoral Student Consortium, workshops, and tutorials) will be conducted on the first two days and the main conference will begin on December 6th, 2023.
Accepted papers in the main conference, workshops, Early Career Workshop, Doctoral Student Consortium and Work-in-Progress Posters will be published in proceedings, which will be submitted to Elsevier for inclusion in Scopus. Proceedings of the main conference (excluding posters) will also be submitted to Thomson Reuters for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index.
ICCE2023 is planned to be held as a “in-person” event only at this moment. This may change to a hybrid mode according to the situation.
The seven theme-based sub-conferences will foster the building of strong research communities within the broader field of Computers in Education and Educational Technology. The meta-conference umbrella will play not only the dual role of allowing researchers to enhance their identity in their thematic research communities, but also allowing cross-disciplinary interactions to help broaden the scope of and inspire future innovative research.
