Yamada Laboratory, Kyushu University

We will be holding a public hearing on a doctoral dissertation

We have come this far…it has been a long time. Although the awarding of degrees has not yet been finalized, we have reached the public hearing, a milestone in the awarding of degrees, whatever the outcome may be. Finally, the possibility of Yamada Laboratory’s first Ph has begun to appear.

Educational technology is a research area that seems to be unfamiliar to other major research areas in education such as comparative education, history of education, philosophy of education, and sociology of education. In particular, Yamada Laboratory’s research is based on the use of ICT, so it has a strong connection with information technology. There were various areas that needed to be reviewed, such as the evaluation of research achievements in this area. However, pedagogy is a field that has developed while being related to various research areas, and we have made a lot of progress since you recognized the depth of this research area. I would like to express my gratitude to the professors of the Department of Educational Systems and to former Department Chair Oka and current Department Chair Kimura for facilitating this discussion.

We will hold a public hearing for doctoral dissertations as follows. If you are interested, please join us. We will send the URL and password by the morning of November 4 to those who have registered in the application form as follows. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
