A new academic year has begun. The end of the previous year was hectic, and we have moved straight into the new year without a moment to settle down. We look forward to your continued support this year.
Starting this year, we have welcomed one master’s student and one research student. As I am unable to supervise undergraduate research, it is generally quite difficult for me to accept internal applicants, so I typically accept students from outside the university. This time, we welcomed a student who graduated from Professor Takaoka’s lab at Yamaguchi University. Thank you very much. They wish to conduct research on ICT-enhanced learning environments for mathematics.
The other student is a research student from China who wishes to conduct research on VR and AR environments for Japanese language learning.
With these two newcomers, I hope to build a research structure that can contribute to the development of Educational Technology research. If you meet them at academic conferences or other events, I would appreciate your guidance and support.
