I am very pleased to announce that the content presented by my student at the international conference SITE in March has been accepted as a book chapter and I received notification today that it has been published. The work concerns the design, development, and evaluation of English vocabulary learning using geographical data. This is the result of a joint research project with Professor Okada of the Center for Educational Program Development at our university, Professor Kaneko of the Cybersecurity Center, and Professor Goda of Kumamoto University. Although the project concludes this fiscal year, it is a result of my KAKENHI Challenging Exploratory Research grant.

It is wonderful to see work remain as an academic achievement even after graduation. I would like to expand on this more actively from the second semester, but since the Unity version has been updated, it seems to be behaving a bit strangely, so I am currently working on fixes.
