We did it! The results of our research evaluating learner interaction using the “Community of Inquiry” framework within the collaborative learning support system “C4,” which was developed through KAKENHI-funded research, have been accepted for the special issue “Social Media for Ubiquitous Learning” of the journal IEEE Multimedia (SCI Impact factor 1.767)!! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the reviewers and my co-researchers. Thank you very much. I would also like to thank the reviewers for their guidance. Publication is scheduled for 2016.

I feel relieved… It felt short, yet long. After the first round of reviews, we were asked to conduct a re-experiment. Despite the short turnaround time, with the cooperation of Prof. Goda and Prof. Yasunami at Kumamoto University, we were able to collect the data. From there, I spent my nights re-analyzing the data and writing the manuscript. I almost cried. It was truly tough… Perhaps because of that hardship, I am now filled with emotion. I’m so glad. I feel a bit drained now.

Now, this system is being developed as a Moodle module, and to make it even better, I am currently using it as the foundation for my own KAKENHI research as well. I want to continue improving it so that everyone can use it. I must keep working harder than ever!!
