The Educational Technology Selection series has arrived

2012年08月01日

It has finally arrived. I pre-ordered it. For now, I am starting with “Research Methods in Educational Technology.” I have skimmed through it, and it is written very comprehensively. I think it is a great book for master’s students who are planning to study the field of Educational Technology, or for those from other fields who are considering conducting research in Educational Technology.

Since some statistical terminology appears, it would be helpful to have a dictionary of statistical terms or some prior knowledge of statistics. It might also be useful for doctoral students to use when conducting seminars for master’s students. It allows doctoral students to confirm whether they truly understand the content and whether they can explain it simply and clearly to master’s students.

I personally want to study survey research, qualitative research methods, and design research methods, which I have not done much of myself. I plan to buy the other volumes next month. It seems that more books in the Educational Technology Selection series will be released one after another. I am looking forward to them.

I highly recommend you read them.
