Formative Evaluation of a Career Self-Regulation Support Game

This research provides an overview of a card game used in career exploration classes developed for high school students, as well as the classes themselves. The presenter, Mr. Ozaki, is an active high school teacher who also teaches career building courses. This work is being conducted as part of research at Yamada Laboratory. In the process of helping high school students consider their future careers, we developed a career self-regulation support game to enable them to recognize and advance their own career paths while considering potential future scenarios.
Construction of a Learning Data Collection Infrastructure for Card-Based Educational Games

Using Mr. Ozaki’s career self-regulation support game as a sample, Dr. Geng has developed a system capable of recording the gameplay of card games. While it does not utilize highly advanced technology, we are examining an approach that blends the benefits of physical cards with the digital advantage of logging data.
Expectations and Challenges for Sense-making Data-Driven Cram School Management

In this presentation, we examine how data-driven cram school management, which we are advancing as a joint research project with Eishinkan, can contribute to the operation of cram schools. We are currently receiving and analyzing data from Eishinkan and holding frequent discussions with them. Through these discussions, we are using the Delphi method to understand how experts in cram school management perceive data-driven management support. This presentation will cover the initial stages of this work.
