We’re excited to announce the publication of a paper on grade-specific learning behavior sequences!

I am pleased to announce that the paper I submitted to SAGE Open has been accepted for publication and is now officially published! I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the reviewers and the professor who spearheaded the project. Thanks to our fruitful discussions, we successfully achieved acceptance and subsequent publication. We truly appreciate the collaborative efforts that made this possible.

I am thrilled to announce that Ms. Chen Li, who earned her PhD in my lab, and is currently serving as an assistant professor at Dr. Shimada’s institution, is the first author of our recently published paper. She has done an outstanding job, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to her! Throughout the process, we engaged in numerous discussions about the paper with Mr. Geng, a 3rd-year PhD student in my lab. Together, we reached this significant milestone. The paper focuses on tracking behavioral transitions across eBooks and learning dashboards, categorized by grade (high-low), with the aim of extracting learning behavior characteristics.

In an ICT-based learning environment, learners engage with various systems rather than relying solely on a single platform. It is crucial not to overlook the significance of integrating ICT across knowledge input, personal interpretation, and the expression of ideas through reports and other deliverables. While the eBook logs play a distinctive role in many aspects, it’s essential to recognize that learners have multiple avenues for acquiring knowledge.

This paper primarily focuses on the distinctive features of eBook logs and doesn’t delve deeply into the interpretation and representation of knowledge. However, it offers valuable insights into the correlation between learning behavior transitions and various dashboard functions. These functions include reviewing one’s learning behaviors, comparing them with others, and exploring the connections between these behaviors and the eBook.

This paper is published in an Open Journal, allowing free access for those interested to read it.

#The expenses were notably high due to the weakened yen!
