We are pleased to announce the Ph.D. dissertation defense for Xuewang Geng, a former student of Yamada Laboratory and currently a specially appointed assistant professor at the Data-Driven Innovation Initiative, Kyushu University. Mr. Geng has developed and evaluated an AR-based Japanese compound verb learning support system, as well as a learning dashboard that visualizes trajectories by combining paper cards. He has designed, developed, and evaluated a learning environment utilizing a Learning Analytics approach that digitizes data by integrating AR with analog paper elements and subsequently visualizing it.
Furthermore, he has analyzed learning processes using lag sequential analysis on learning logs and has attempted to extract learning strategies. We invite all those interested to attend. For those who register, we will send the Zoom link to the email address provided.
