On March 10th and 11th, the Special Interest Group on Computers and Learning Environments (CLE) was held at our university’s Ito Campus. Professor Keishi Shimada, who has been a great support to our Learning Analytics research, served as the chair, and Professor Okubo took the lead in organizing the event at the Ito Campus. Since it was being held at our campus, I wanted to increase the number of presentations from Kyushu University, and our students worked hard to present their research despite not being members (though I am a member). The following three papers were presented:

Some students made their debut here, while others gained further experience. This was my second time participating, and since there were people I knew and those I had collaborated with, I felt at ease and thought it was a great venue for students to present their work. As it focuses on the intersection of information technology and education/learning, I believe it is a good place for students involved in development to gather information, receive feedback, and get inspired. I look forward to participating in this event again in the future.

However, face-to-face interaction is truly wonderful. While the CLE meeting itself was held in a hybrid format, I felt that the in-person experience provided a great environment.
