I am very grateful that a research proposal I have been involved in as a co-researcher has been selected for the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) MIRAI Program.

The MIRAI Program has several priority themes, and we applied under the theme “Realization of ‘Knowledge’ Expansion to Extend ‘Social Activity Life’ and Enhance Human Productivity to Overcome the Decline in the Working Population.” Our proposal, titled “Expansion of Learning Analytics Infrastructure for Multi-generational Co-creation and Social Activity Support” (Principal Investigator: Shin-ichi Konomi, Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Science and Director of the Learning Analytics Center, Kyushu University), was selected.

Until now, the Learning Analytics Center at the Faculty of Arts and Science, Kyushu University, has been promoting Learning Analytics research from the perspective of visualizing learning outcomes and learning processes at our university. In addition to this, we will now be utilizing Learning Analytics from the perspective of multi-generational co-creation. It seems we will be deepening our research in Learning Analytics while simultaneously advancing its large-scale social implementation. Furthermore, as we expand Learning Analytics to populations beyond university students, we may discover new challenges and unexpected benefits. I have high expectations in many respects.

It looks like I will be leading (?) the education team within this project. I would like to work in collaboration with other teams to conduct excellent research from the perspective of multi-generational co-creation. I will do my best!!
