The International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2014), an international conference related to the learning sciences and Educational Technology, will be held in Nara. The conference will take place from November 30th to December 4th. As the name “Computers” suggests, this international conference has a relatively high proportion of system development and Computer Science research within the fields of the learning sciences and Educational Technology. There are several sub-sessions, including those on intelligent systems, open educational content, mobile learning, and games.
I am serving as the Program Chair for the Technology-Enhanced Language Learning (TELL) session. Compared to other sessions, this one has a stronger focus on content, but it remains one of the fields where new technologies are first applied when they emerge.
I encourage those conducting research in the TELL field to submit their papers. The submission deadline is May 12th. Even if you are not submitting a paper, please consider attending, as the conference will be held in Nara. We look forward to seeing you there.
