The new academic year has brought a lot of work, and I’ve been quite busy. There have been both happy moments and challenging ones. I’ll keep doing my best.

I found a magazine that looked interesting, so I gave it a read: TRANSIT SORA Special Edition, featuring: Airports and the Sky, Stories of the Beautiful Sky. I’ve always loved traveling, so I enjoy magazines like this. It features photographs of human drama at Narita Airport, but it turns out they were models. I was surprised. The clothes they were wearing are introduced. Still, I like this kind of thing.

It also covers facts about Narita Airport (annual passenger numbers, number of countries with direct flights, airlines by terminal), as well as airports around the world with wonderful designs, interesting features, and even some unbelievable ones.

They really were unbelievable. Nepal, Brazil… you just want to say, “There’s definitely going to be an accident there!” The airport in Nepal used by many Everest climbers has a runway that is only 527 meters long. So short!! It seems only propeller planes can use it, but even propeller planes usually require a 1,000-meter runway. If you fail to take off, you’re going straight into the valley. It’s an airport on a cliff at an altitude of 2,800 meters, after all.

Also, the features on the Netherlands and India were good, and the 20 carefully selected items for travel were interesting as well.
